Cosmopolitan
Ingredients:
1 ½ oz. Citrus Vodka
¾ oz. Cointreau
½ oz. cranberry juice
½ freshly squeezed lime
Directions:
Shake, strain into a chilled Cocktail Glass. Garnish with a spiral of lemon.

Blue Cheese Olive Martini
Ingredients:
¼ oz. Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth
2 ½ oz. of your favorite English Dry Gin
1 large Maytag Blue Cheese stuffed Spanish Olive
Directions:
Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Season the ice by rinsing with dry Vermouth and pouring off the excess (In & Out). Add gin, then shake briskly until the shaker is itself ice cold. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with Maytag Blue Cheese stuffed Olive. (Sidebar: one Olive is elegant, two is acceptable, and three becomes a meal).

Apple Blossom
( A sophisticated version of the appletini )
Ingredients:
1 oz. Citrus Vodka
1 oz. Marie Brizard Manzanita Liqueur
1 oz. fresh lemon sour *
½ oz. cloddy apple juice
½ oz. fresh green apple coulis or puree
Directions:
In an ice filled mixing glass add above ingredients, shake until well blended; strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a green Maraschino Cherry or a slice of Granny Smith apple.
* Mixing 2 parts fresh squeezed lemon juice with one part simple syrup will easily make fresh lemon sour.

Ingredients:
2 oz. Straight Rye Whiskey
1 oz. Cinzano Rosso Sweet Vermouth
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Directions:
Stir until well-chilled, strain into a chilled Cocktail Glass. Garnish with a Maraschino cherry or 3 small brandied cherries.

Oswaldo's Sangria
Ingredients:
1 bottle rioja or other red wine
16 oz. orange juice, no pulp
1/2 C vodka
splash ginger ale
3 Tbsp. sugar
Dice:
1 orange
1 lemon
1 lime
1 apple
Directions:
Combine liquids and sugar.
add fruits, saving some diced fruit
to skewer on cocktail pics.
pour into martini glasses and enjoy!
